Frisbee Golf Sets

Frisbee Golf

There are some games that have really stood the test of time, and if you enjoy spending time outside, you will be pleased to know thatFrisbee golf is one of these classic yet still popular games. You can grab a friend or two and head to your local course. While these courses are more difficult to find than, say, a tennis court or a basketball court these days, you can still find several in most major towns. If you have plenty of space available, you can also set up your own course. For instance, a wide open field at a park would work great. There are a few other things you will need on hand to play.

Baskets.
When you play the game of Frisbee golf, your goal is to aim these Frisbee-like disks into a basket by tossing the disks through the air in the same way you would a Frisbee. Yet the game is also like golf in that you will have 18 different baskets as well as a tee-off point for each one. If you find an established course, the baskets should already be in place, but if you make your own course, or if you simply want to practice a bit on your own, you will need at least one basket on hand. As you shop, look for a foldable and lightweight basket for easy portability.

Disks.
The disks are an important part of Frisbee golf. You may think you just need one disk, but the fact is that this game is often played in wooded areas and those disks do tend to get lost. Plus, many people will leave one disk down as their place marker while they toss another around. For added fun, look for the glow-in-the-dark varieties or for a package that continues multiple colors. For added convenience, look for a set that comes with a handy carrying bag. Keep in mind that you will also benefit from a bag that has space for your keys, a drink, and maybe even your cell phone, too.

Score Sheets.
Now, score sheets are not a requirement. If you know what you are doing, you can keep tally of your own score on any old piece of paper. Many courses even provide you with their own version of a tally sheet that includes the par for each hole. Yet sometimes you will find that there is benefit in carrying around a booklet of blank score sheets for any games that may come up, as well as for those games where you create your own holes.
