Italy may be considered the birth place of the
Renaissance era that spanned from the 14th through the 17th century or the
late Middle Ages. This has not gone unchallenged, for others may argue that it
began in Florence in the 14th century. Some would debate whether the era could
be considered an advance in culture at all. For better or worse it is still a
part of our history and many enjoy the period, evidenced by Renaissance Fairs
