Some Things You May Not Know About Robin Hood!

Legend had it that Robin Hood stole from the rich and gave to the poor however:

The Robin Hood story has been featured on television and in Hollywood a whooping 68 times!

The diehard followers of the Robin Hood story believe him to be buried in Kirklees Hall in Yorkshire, where a grave bears the inscription: "Here underneath this little stone / Lies Robert Earl of Huntington / Never archer there as he so good / And people called him Robin Hood / Such outlaws as him and his men / Will England never see again".

There is a theory that Robin Hood’s real name was Earl of Huntington and died in 1198.

The timeline for the Major Oak that he and his men used to hide out in Sherwood Forest doesn’t line up because the oak would have been a sapling at that time.

According to some the merry men band group was approximately 5 up to as many as 140 at its peak.

The bow he used was carved from a yew tree.
