Go is an acient Chinese family
board game often compared to chess, an abstract board game involving strategic
opening sequences with stones on a wooden board. According to legend, the
board game Go was used as a teaching tool after the ancient Chinese emperor "
Yao
" designed it for his son "Dan Zhu", who he thought needed to learn
discipline, concentration, and balance. The Game Supply features a deluxe

MAH JONG BOARD GAMES

Mah jong is a form of Mah Jong standardized by the National Mah
Jongg league and the American Mah Jong Association that has the greatest
divergence from traditional Mah Jong, with the introduction of joker tiles,
the Charleston, as well as melds of five or more tiles, and eschewing the Chow
and the notion of a standard hand. Because of this divergence, the NMJL and
AMJA variations (which differ from each other by minor scoring differences)
are commonly referred to as Mah Jongg (with two Gs, possibly hyphenated).
Purists of Mah Jong claim that the divergence from standard Mahjong makes
American Mah Jong not a "true Mah Jong", and thus should be considered a
separate game in and of itself.

Mahjong, but developed further. Cantonese Mahjong, also known as "Hong Kong
Mahjong" in or around 1960's or "Hong Kong Old Style" as it is reffered to by
most people other than Chinese, are widely played by people in Hong Kong,
China and in most parts of the world where the game mahjong has become very
popular.
