Pickleball has been described as a mixture of tennis, ping pong and a dash of badminton thrown in. It can be enjoyed by all ages and easy to learn however it can turn into a highly competitive
Ground zero for the popularity movement would be a seniors community in the Villages located in Central Florida and the word is spreading rapidly across the United States and globally.

It is one of the fastest growing sports in America, not bad for a game that was named after the family pet!
What equipment do I need to play Pickleball?
The basic equipment required is a paddle, a vented plastic ball (often called a wiffle ball), a badminton sized court (it can be indoors or outdoors) and a lowered tennis net (36” at the ends and 34” in the middle.
Do I need to make a fashion statement when on the court?
Pickleball players wear what is comfortable but do recommend a good pair of tennis shoes because you are going to be moving about and relying on your foot work for game play.
Is this game contagious?
Yes it can be, it is estimated there are approximately 50,000 players that have contracted this game virus and to date there is no cure!
